Pixelle’s Founder:

Whitney Pollett has worked in the toy and entertainment industry for 15+ years. She’s passionate about building brands, telling aspirational stories, and nurturing talent.

Previous Experience: VP of new content & design at Just Play, creative director of girls’ toys and creative resources at Nickelodeon, senior designer at Disney Consumer Products, fashion apprentice for The Blonds NY, and has an ongoing relationship with Mattel, Disney, Spin Master, MGA, Hasbro, Universal, Moose & more.

    The Disney Wonderground Gallery storefront! Other galleries she’s enjoyed working with are Gallery Nucleus, Gallery 1988, QPOP, The Meltdown and the Himalaya Museum in Shanghai.

  • Community

    Whitney was an early adopter and one of the first artists to appear on Instagram. She’s grown a completely organic fan base by posting original artwork and drawing tutorials that encourage artists to pursue their passions and believe in themselves.

  • Speaking Events

    Demystifying and democratizing the world of toys has been a passion of Whitney’s. She’s given talks with Disney+, Bark Box, B&H, Wacom, and San Diego Comic-Con.

  • Conventions

    Whitney always looks forward to creative conventions and gatherings like San Diego ComicCon, Lightbox Expo and Adobe Max.

  • PFPs + NFTs

    Whitney was invited by R-Space on Xiaohongshu to create an exclusive PFP project. She worked with Anileague to create a campaign that connected with over 70+ million users and multiple celebrity influencers. The message was: “Even though some days you may feel teeny tiny, you’re strong, you’re tough, and you can do anything!” The project was called “Fairy Spell” with the tagline, “We See You.”

  • Metaverse

    A collaboration with IMVU - Whitney created a virtual underwater studio space called ARTLANTIS where creative friends could gather, chat, take selfies, and pose on the model stand while others sketched them. The event included a live Q+A with Whitney and remains a fun place for like-minded friends to connect and hang out on the IMVU metaverse platform.

  • E-Commerce

    An online shop that is home to Whitney’s convention creations.

  • Education

    Whitney has been a guest lecturer at Otis College of Art + Design, FIT in NYC and a teacher on www.ProjectCity.tv.
